Today was one of those special days. They may be few and far between, but you know it straight away. Basically it begins with me hating the dentist, me meeting a certain Dr Chelsea Cahi, me then falling in love with her and the whole team at Cahi Dental & Prosthodontics Practice and then me being able to attend their very special community service Outreach Program– How’s that for a love story!
In collaboration with Cell C, Sun International and SIC Productions, Cahi Dental & Prosthodontics are the official sponsors of Miss SA ( No wonder those girls have smiles that can stop time). It was a morning filled with the 12 Finalists of Miss SA playing, performing, teaching and comforting the adorable kids from the Thuthuzela Community Home in Alexandra Township during their annual checkup. An Orphanage which was adopted by the Cahi dentistry as their charity for 2017 in honour of their commitment to Miss SA.
The Cahi Dental & Prosthodontic Practice which opened in Atholl Square in 2005 is owned by brothers/ Doctors ( must have very proud parents) Emile Cahi a Specialist Prosthodontist and Dr Norman Cahi a general and cosmetic dentist. They have been joined by Dr. Norman’s daughter Dr Chelsea Cahi and together the three Cahi doctors run this very well-known and highly respected dental facility on the border of Sandton Central. It is this family run business that can teach most people a thing or two on generosity and kindness. Luckily for our community the Cahi Dental Facility are as passionate about charity as they are about teeth. Besides for adopting a whole orphanage, they support numerous charities and welfare organisations and have a deep compassion for children’s health and well being.
The Magic of the Cahi Dental Facility seeped into the air today and it was a blessing to see a business taking control and giving back in the best way they know how. Cahi Dental & Prosthodontics Practice have committed to helping, treating and managing all 66 children on a PRO DEO basis. All their dental needs and treatments will be done by their 5 top Dental Professionals free of charge for the entire year.
Today was not just about giving back to a community in need of help but about bringing awareness and publicity in the hope of others following and offering their medical services too…
I don’t know about you, but this certainly made me smile!
